Visa: The Indo Pak Frontier

Pakistan and India have struggled to maintain a stable relationship since the partition in 1947. Both countries either due to political or military conflict have not been able to resolve many on going hot conflicts between them. For example the Kashmir Dispute is still a hot topic which is nowhere near a conclusion.

The Indo Pak relations however have gone better in the past few years in terms of visa policies. The visa policies between India and Pakistan are one of the strongest indicators of the good terms both country want between them. As being neighbours they have to think of the benefits both can reap from each other.
The new signed policy by delegates of both the countries came into effect after the 15th of the new year. The policies are beneficial for tradesmen of both the countries as well as for the pilgrims. The senior citizens get the best of the deal. They are to be give visas on arrival.
The policy sounds a great leap towards good relations in the future. However as soon as the policy came in effect the policy came to a HALT!!!
During the Indo Pak cricket series a couple of soldiers on both sides of the control line were killed. Due to that many senior citizens who relied on the new on arrival visa policy were sent back.
We hope for the best to happen between the two nations and give them enough tolerance to lay path of their friendship on a wise man's saying. "Live peacefully, maintain friendly relations with with neighbours and the world at large".
