A Glass Full of Milk

Recently I was forwarded a heart touching story. A story which many might have heard or read but still it is worth sharing. The story shows how simple acts of kindness can help you gather up heaps of Hasanaat (Good Deeds) and how they come to help at the most unlikely of the places.Teaching us an important subject on how to live being self-less in life. The story goes like this...

A poor boy, one day while travelling from house to house in search of work had lost his hope. But he decides to visit one last door and tries his luck, there a beautiful girl opens the door. The boy before anything asks the girl for a glass of water. The girl thinking the poor boy might be hungry gives him A Glass Full Of Milk. The boy who worked to pay off his school fees feels refreshed and physically strong.
He then asks the girl of how he can repay for her kindness? But she says, "Mother has taught me to never accept pay for kindness". The boy thanks her whole heartily and goes away.

                 YEARS LATER.....

The woman got ill with such a contagious disease that the doctors of her town were baffled by it. She then was taken to the city. There too no one in the hospital seemed to understand the disease, but one.... Dr. Howard Kelly. He came to see the woman and instantly knew who she was. He undertook her case and set it to be his top priority. When she recovered and the bill was to come she looked a bit worried, thinking it will take away her life time of savings.
The bill finally came but to her surprise it was already paid. On it was written...
